Groups 

We are able to take group bookings 12 months in advance. The best way to check availability and tailor the activities, food and rooms you need for your stay is to contact us by telephone or email:

If we have space we can reserve the beds, pending the payment of a deposit and the receipt of a completed group booking form. Please make sure you read the attached booking conditions. Please also see below for details of payment methods for domestic and international groups.

Prices

Group prices per person per night from 1st March 2019 - 28th February 2020:

Free group planning visits and leader places

Your group leader is entitled to a free preliminary visit - bed and breakfast for one night - to facilitate forward planning. Please give us a ring if you would like to arrange this. One free leader place is available for every ten full board Under 18 bookings. 

Domestic and International payment details:

Payment details - Domestic UK

1. Payment by sterling cheque (i.e. drawn on a British bank and displaying a sort-code).

2. Payment by Credit or Debit Card. Please telephone the hostel with your details.

3. Direct to our bank (BACS). Please send payment directly to our Direct Credits bank account:

Please make cheques payable to: Derwentwater Independent Hostel. Currency of payment must be made in British Pounds Sterling. Please send copies of all transactions to the hostel. You may use one of the following methods:

1. Direct bank transfers: these are completed through your bank. Please send to:
